Now what an interesting idea to come up with - as seen in multiple shop windows in Bruges the other day - very realistic chocolate tools. A similar thing existed when I was a child but they were so glossy with shellac they looked like plastic tools - and tasted like plastic too. My childhood chocolate tools were, alas, too small to pass as the real McCoy, whereas the Bruges tools were life-sized... I imagine you could fool a lot of people, biting into one of these in Belgium - "Hey Arno, look at me licking this circular saw on the sharp part and now I'm going to mouth this drill bit", "Nay, Maarten! you will cut ya tongue!" If you look closely, you'll see the trick - all the tools are sprinkled over with chocolate powder the colour and texture of rust - clever.
